As many feel that their post counts matter so much that they spam the site forums to simply get a high post count .....

I would suggest to make the post count a more valuable tool for trades that either the counts be split and shown separate as trade posts and others [hard to do, I know]
or
simply have post count reflect trades only, in the trade forum. Spank spammers trying to inflate and give warn %'s.


Just a thought to put a true value on post counts for those that feel it matters and for those that wish to do so fairly.

To me, post count doesn't mean anything. I believe the existing warn system limits spam accordingly. I understand your concept, but I don't think it's needed.
