because you know there is twitter and instragram embedding features available to forums, which we still don't have in 2014 for some reason

I see no reason to add these features, but that is my personal opinion.
I don't use instagram, I'm very inactive on Twitter and Facebook is the last thing I want to pop up when I'm on D2jsp.
