Overview
My idea is to have the notifications bar that is available on the d2jsp instant messenger page, to be available on every page as a small toolbar at the bottom of your page. This toolbar would be at the bottom of your page at all times (even while scrolling). I'm sure many of you have seen toolbars move with your screen.

Example & Explanation
Here are some amateur pictures to describe what I'm talking about:

At the bottom of the d2jsp IM client, this exists:

I am proposing to have it added as a feature on the main site. The "settings" feature could toggle sound (a little beep), and could toggle the toolbar on/off for those who don't need the feature. There could of course, be more settings based on the desire/needs that others feel necessary.

Thanks for taking the time to check out this suggestion!

Voted no sorry.
You already have notificatons in real time if u have 2 pages open (1) intant mess and (2) the page you are browsing at.
In addition when u join instant messenger u reconnect to a private and protected network.

I'm sure this was thought of but not implemented because it would reduce page load time everywhere slightly. But I've personally found that D2JSP is one of the fastest loading sites that I've been on, pages load instantly everywhere and I'm only on a 5 MBps download 1 MBps upload ISP speed. So I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to reduce it by some milliseconds for this.

I've found that if I let Instant Messenger Idle too long it disconnects sometimes and fails to reconnect itself, making me miss important notifications when depending on it!

Also it's a pain to have to keep switching over to check it incase you missed it, or keep the volume higher than any music going to hear it.

I believe this is a great suggestion and should be effected asap. I find it very difficult to remember to have a second page open, none the less this reduces my browsers load time, increases PC load, clusters my browser especially since I usually have many tabs open using most of them anyway. And it would be so much easier, user friendly, and quite sensible to have it on-hand every page you visit! :)

With all that being said you have my Yes, and fully backed support :)
