Why do you let users sell character / account names in the D2 trading forums?

You can just register the name on an email, and sell it and give them a fake email. Then, after a certain while, use the password recovery broken system with battle.net's server and get a random generated password back to your main email. Then, re-login into the account and change password through D2's GUI.

It's not 100% Mediation proof and will just end up with more reports in the scammer accusations forum.

We do not mediate account sales or character names, period.

With that said, nobody is forcing you to participate in the selling of accounts or character names.

The Scammer Accusations forum, and our staff, is more then equipped to deal with the few bad eggs that may pop up once in a while.

I would never buy an account. nor would I have just written instructions on how to do that to people. if that works you are just teaching more people how to do it turd.
