Warn and Join-Date related delay for open a new thread

Warn:
10% = max. one topic/1h
20% = max. one topic/2h
30% = max. one topic/3h
etc.

Join-Date:
same Year +10h
-1 Year +9h
-2 Years +8h
-3 Years +7h
etc.

Example:
i got 20% warn = one topic / 2h
Join-Date = 2009 its -5 Years = + 5h

so i could open new thread 7h after the last.
maybe for trading boards could be other timing make sense

Yeah this would help us to stop this huge amount of spam-topics.

I like the concept, but it wouldn't work. Also the join date thing is not useful.
Plenty of multis doing 200+ posts/day though to get that post count up and a lot of them are just making stupid topics with a supposed question about some asinine thing.

No for join date. If i need to create 3 guides and 2 happy birthday-topics, 1trade topic akd possibly something on international forums, i cant wait days for them.

For warned users, i could say yes if it would be for +50% warned only.
So im nulling this one.

You have already the inability to post in a few subforums because of the warn.

People can make mistake, and with the warn they learn them already. However, I don't see why they should have a limitation in the number of topic per day. The forum is big, you have a lot of forums, games, discussion etc, so if a person with warns is active in a lot of place (exemple in few games with a trade topic in each), he can't trade normally? This mean he will have to wait x hours every time.
In my eyes, this suggestion is not going to help in the reduction of the spam since you can still make inappropriate post without to make a topic. Also with the warn you earn already a good amount of restrictions (flood timer, etc)

About the Join date, for me it means nothing. I don't see why you should have limitation because of it. It's not because you joined 10 years ago, that you should have more privileges than a person who joined yesterday.

I vote no sorry.



A thread can be made everywhere. International Forums, games discussion, trading ground etc. Trade topic was an exemple.
it's why I said "The forum is big".

It change nothing in what I wrote. If a person violate the rules, reports will be review by Moderators, and action will be taken if necessary.

Multiple people i know post on different sub forums

It would also be a plain punishment to new people trying out the website

This is not for posting or trading...its for creating new threads
and the times could be little changed

hell no. the warn system already applies enough restrictions to users. and join date restrictions is just absurd, join date means nothing and always will.

How about this:

if you get warned for spam/flaming or what ever in a specific subforum (for example trading grounds), you get a delay to create a new topic in this specific subforum, in this case the trading ground.

that joindate thing is complete bull..
