I believe this has been suggested in the past but i honestly think this could seriously cut down on flaming and spam in huge amounts.
Why i think this is needed is from my experience over the past year, as many know i have struggled with cancer treatments and family tragedy, some users take great delight in trolling me over both of these subjects, it took me a lot of initial temp suspensions and a lot of good threads closed to to spam before i learned to no longer reply to these people.
However they still to this day make these same posts, which i now just forward to the appropriate mods and ignore.
If i could block their posts i would not have to deal with these users ever again.

Another great example is the political forums, the same few select users i have discussed matters with ad nauseam keep railroading my threads with the same arguments and they just end up as 30 page back and forth nonsense instead of constructive posting.

I feel a lot of users have the same issues with a few select people each and we could all benefit from simply no longer having to deal with trolls or griefers.

There is an add-on that already allowed you to block users posts, and you can already block people from PMing you.
Can't give any links but I know they exist (they can still post, you just cannot see it).

I am aware of both, i do not want to have to use an add on and i want the pm block system to block users posts as well.
Some of us just do not get along.

A post can be quite low down and still within the rules.
"Lol fake like lifebane99's cancer" is a common one, its not against the rules but it gets under my skin, which is their exact goal.
I do think that the moderators work could be cut in half by implementing this, but if it is over suggested please close this thread. (to any mods reading)
Thanks for the links by the way.
After reviewing them, this is not what i suggested, these suggestions stop users posting in your topic.
My suggestion is to allow them to post but you can not see any of their posts, in any topic.

I never understood people who shared their personal life in public like that.
There's absolutely no reason to do it and it's so easy to abuse that info against you.

The fact that you can't see someone insulting you doesn't solve any problems.
It also makes the conversations a mess and most likely ends in you removing the block for that certain user, just to see what they said.

Voting no, just like before.
