Well, after my 'early' bump thread lock yesterday I've noticed people doing this time and time and time again, and getting away with it. I was told to report, but quite frankly I'm not going to be that guy.

Regardless, I realized that 99% of the time people do this because they wanted to add something to their last post, but they can no longer edit it. How long is this time period? I really think it should be extended and would save on a lot of the early bumps in the trade forums. It certainly would have saved my auction thread from being closed 3 mins before closing if I could have edited my last post with the 3 min left warning I posted. Another idea is being able to edit the initial post at any point in time for updating trade lists etc. Countless times people post bins on the 4th page of a thread when something is long gone because they were referring to the first post.

I would like to mention that 4 hours is a dang long time, but I don't think I'll have any shot at that one getting changed or even thought about.

I don't think this is such a terrible idea

The time limit for editing a post is 30 minutes. It most likely will not be extended. For those page 4 peeps, the OP should be reposting an updated list with each legal bump. Many don't and that makes it confusing to read thru all the replies to see if an item is still available. This, in my opinion, is a failure on the OP's part. Not of the system.

Please read this: http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=57896631&f=258
You should have examples and a poll in suggestions.
Also, here is a guide how to edit your list after 30mins:

Thanks
