Should we give the option for user Y to squelch and unsquelch user X on the forums? (It works just like the squelch option Diablo 2 and it would only work for the user who did the squelching)

This option could be used if you don't want to hear someone spam you.
This option could be used if you don't like someones signature.
This option could be used if a users profile lags you.
It would give a user more satisfaction and options because they could report and/or squelch the user.

I think it would be rather trivial to implement.

This has been suggested before, multiple times in various ways.
This wont happen, it will only confuse areas such as trading grounds among other.

There is something like this already, I believe its called "postblocker"

Not sure who created it, but well, ask about it in general help and I'm sure they''ll help you

Sometimes if people have youtube videos and screenshots it takes a while to load up for some people.

Lol, I was actually wondering what that add on was called. I'll have to make a guide for it.

There's a new one made by AnimeFTW
Search for "animeftw's d2jsp post blocker" on the userscripts site
Blocks the user's whole post, including signature, as the old one did, so you don't have to worry about either of them
