I know it is up to the person to clean their inbox at times, however, in some cases, the box becomes full and, due to perhaps real life situations, or even just the inability to connect, inevitably some PM's never reach the user due to "This users mailbox is currently full"
I am not suggesting to increase the limit of 50 - I believe this to be adequate, and probably slims down on the space needed. (I'm talking out of turn here though, I am more or less blind in the ways of websites/memory/coding ect.)
However, perhaps a menu of "Attempted PM's" with a link to their profile could pop up, should you find yourself with a full inbox. This separate menu would have no more than say...5 slots of users who had tried to PM you but failed.
This would allow the user with the full inbox to promptly PM back when they can. It would avoid the loss of some trades or ideas or anything the message system could produce.
