OK, So I know "Free" isn't considered a trade in any dictionary or the English Language overall.

But, some of us would like to offer wierd services free of charge. And why shouldn't we if we wanted too? Gathering Players, Helping You Gear Up whatever.
Now, there are spots on the forums where you can do these things..But they arn't usually even under the game Title your playing in. So you post a topic in the "Events" suggestion as admins suggest and it says something along the lines of..

Title: Free PowerLeveling Services Diablo 3
Topic Description: That's right..free no charge..Just for fun

And your doing the community a huge favor..making friends..and overall improving everyone's game experience.

Some rules should be to avoid scamming..

"Do not drop or let anyone hold your items, fg, or any other Digital Items."

I mean just like the FT forums..or the Services threads..ppl get scammed. And very cleverly sometimes.

Why do you want to offer free stuff in the trading grounds and not the Events section of d2jsp?
Simple - In the Events sections there is a mass mix of gamers/w.e people in there who 80% might not even play the game
someone is posting free stuff/services for. Thus, no one even responds because no one who plays the game
even knows that the topic exists because they have no idea of "Events" forums and whatnot.


I dunno guys..throw in a vote on what you think..I think if someone wishes to help people for free they should be able too!

The rules are fine as they are in my opinion.
My events may be sorted after game, core and realm - So for those users who play Diablo2 on EU SCL can just sort for that specific realm and see the events there.
If you want to advertice your event, you may just do so in your signature.

The thing is..It's kindof a loop hole. Where an admin has to differentiate whether or not the Op is receiving award or not. Like for example on D3 Forums people run others in ubers for free.. But to run ubers users need machines to run. The OP is basically being able to run ubers for users and get hellfire ring in the deal..But it comes off as a "Free Service". Thread Closed. The problem with that is the OP is actually receiving an award..A Hellfire Ring. Which if he didn't do it free for the people he would have to spend 20-30 minutes to farm "machines" in order to run ubers.

So that being said.. We leave it to meds to decide without any proper guideline on what's free and what's not?

1 Med might read that ubers thread and decide it's good to go..the Op receives reward.
1 Med might stop by and see the word "Free" and instantly close.

See what I'm getting at? o.O
