So whenever a person receives or sends a new friend request and it has yet to be approved or denied, a link below the friends list appears that says "Manage Friends" and then "(x Pending)" after it indicating how many friends you need to manage.
Currently, when you click the "Manage Friends" link, it takes you to the first page of your friends list. Here you can rank, delete, or approve friends.
The thing is, you are directed to the same first page just by clicking "Top x/xx Friends", for example in the first picture above I have 6/69 friends. If I click that, I'm taken to the top of page 1 of my friends list (as seen in the 2nd picture above).
I then must click page 3 and scroll down in order to see these pending requests.
[SIZE=4]For me, the whole point of that "Manage Friends" is to act as an indicator that you have pending friend requests, whether sent or received. So when I click on it, I would expect to be taken to the page and location of which those requests are on. It's current purpose just seems redundant. Either it shouldn't be a link at all, or it should direct you to the very end of the last page of your friends list which is where those pending requests are listed.
Yes, I understand it is a matter of 1 click, and "don't be lazy" blah blah. But the bigger point is what I mentioned above. The Manage Friends link is redundant. Why have 2 links within just a few inches of each other that function as the same purpose.
A huge deal, no. Would it make sense to change? In my opinion, yes.
