I recently asked a mod if I could share a game with Jsp and he told me no because the games forums had its own trading section that conflicts with Jsp. He said I couldn't even post screenshots of the game.

I think this is 1) contradictory to some game subforums and 2) a bad idea.

Jsp has subforums for games like runescape that do have their own trading forums. It appears that it is only allowed on Jsp then because it is popular.

Also, lots of posts on certain game subforums are just discussion of a game, not trading. If Jsp allowed users to promote a game that they played it would create a group of people who play the game and use Jsp. This would evolve to people trading with each other through Jsp where otherwise they could only trade with players in game. Promoting more obscure games is good for Jsp
