It would be nice to have a section for either console discussion in general or ps3/xbox360 specifically.

This would be good for several reasons:
1) The games are siginificantly different - loot 2.0, skill changes on console, dupes/mods on consoles, different requirements for staff of herding, all changes from pc to console - etc.
2) The fan base is somewhat different. We on the consoles getting D3 for the first time are loving it. The pc D3 players have hate written all over their face.
3) We deal with very different issues (currently) on the console would have to ask for non-dupe/modded play-throughs or there will be one or 2 guys that 1 shot everything including inferno highest MP bosses. On PC the discussion is how rich are you to buy how awesome your character will be on AH/RMAH.
4) There is a ps3 trading section, if it is a good idea to have a separate section for trading wouldn't it be a good idea to have a separate section for discussion?
5) This would help keep console D3 players using the forum more often; which I hope would lead to a more active trading forum as well.

JSP respond! (Do moderators ever respond in a thread?)

P.S. Thank you trollers in advance for free bumps! Please don't let that stop the rest of you from making intelligent comments.

The current D3 discussion is open for PC & consoles, so not really needed.

And yes, users from the mod team usually vote & post opinions here.

Thanks for your thoughts. But the game is significantly different as I believe I demonstrated in original post. There are two distinct player bases that cannot play together (across systems).

No, D3 console players should just get lost in the shuffle.
