As the topic title says, i wonder what actually happens when i press the report button and report somebody for "Spam".

As this is a rhetorical question and not a Q A forum, i suggest that something should actually happen.

There are so many useless comments from obvious multi accounts, but you can report hundrets of posts and nothing happens.
this is annoying and kills the forum.

No poll as there is no option to not do something about this.

First of all you posted in wrong section, this is site suggestions subforum and this is how to post one.

Quote
When you report a topic, it will be placed into a queue, to be seen by the moderation team once a member is free. Once it is seen, it will be dealt with appropriately.
taken from here

If it's obvious that someone is using a multi account this is what you should do.
And if there's a guy who's massively spamming (aka posting useless comments) gather up few posts of this user and send it to the proper moderator (keep in mind if you're using the report button you can't know if there was any action taken against user)

Regards ;)

I think you didnt get the ironic part of this thread, even though i mentioned it when i said that its a rhetorical question.

i actually not only a suggest something, i critizise and prompt the mods, becuase as i said, you can report as much as you want and nothing happens!
the suggestion: do something!

you actually just emphasized my point when you suggested me to collect posts of somebody who spams alot and send them via pm to a mod.
why should i do that? there is a report button, but i guess every single person is more of a mod than the mod himself, if you have to do his work and then hope that the mod decides whether he wants to deal with it or not.
