I propose that there be a 500 post minimum to be able to post in general chat because in that sub forum pretty much every day we see a new 2013 with 1 post just come in and spam it up by making a troll thread to get their post count up just to be annoying or to get their post count up as to scam someone easier. But if there was a 500 post min It would make them way more uncommon in that subforum and hopefully make the site and cleaner and safer place for everyone.

General chat is such a troll place anyways.

But it's also "safer" to post there for people that are new. Like when I first posted, people called me multi for a week until they realized I wasn't. I kept trading regardless.

When you first posted, I'm sure you were called a multi. Now he may be of be may be not, nobody knows, until they are locked and tagged.

I dont assume every new account is a multi but if their first post is in gc comming in like they own the place then yeah it raises suspision. someone has full knowledge of the site after 1 post seems fishy

Post count really shouldn't affect anything on this site besides show who wastes the most time online.

how bout something like can't post in the GC for xx amount of days after signing up? Yes, could easily be avoided by simply making an account and leaving it for a while, but most people wouldn't even care to do that much. So might be better than post count restriction.
