Ive noticed a few topics being closed recently due to the iLvl of items being shown in screenshots.

I believe that this should be allowed due to the fact that its soul purpose is to prevent scams with commonly duped items such as valks and other .08 items. I understand that a 3rd party program is not allowed on the site and that it is against the rules, but i think exceptions should be made to improve scam prevention on the site.

Please Vote and comment with your own opinions on this matter.

no.
we do not allow 3rd party programs what so ever. if you worry that an item is "duped" or can poof do not trade it.
also ilvls do not prevent scams.

Ilvl can easily prevent a scam on a valk. with supergamers/other scammers getting a large amount of valk names and making dupe copies yes it can prevent scams.

I understand third party programs are against the rules but to prevent people from losing like 30-70k at a time i think a small exception should be made.

Like I said, if youre worried dont trade highly 'dangerous' items.
Anyone can get any item duped, so ilvls, lists of history does not guarantee that a item is perm.
It just shows whos had the item before you.

You can't just make people stop trading items and this will prevent a lot of UAP.

3rd party programs wouldn't be allowed so it's pointless to make a suggestion like this. Don't be stupid when you buy items

Some ilvl's on certian def valks are no longer available to unperm sellers. i.e. 124def valk ilvl73 is on a known perm valk but no unperms if ilvl73 exist anymore, someone posts an ilvl 99 124def valk with the same name, therefore we know its unperm. ~this is an example not factual numbers.

The game has been around 13 years, theres no reason we cant make an exception at this point. A lot of people have a ton of money invested into these items. the least we can do is try to help prevent scams. Otherwise the Scammer Accusations forum is as worthless as the words typed in it.

Yes the staff catch and lock multiple scammers a day. But wouldnt it be nice to slightly reduce the amount of SA posts by taking strides toward improving prevention as opposed to waiting until after a scam takes place?
