So after recently being scammed, I've been thinking of ways to enable a buyer who has not received what he has purchased with fg to have a chance at a refund.
In addition to the usual method of giving fg, another option to send temporarily "locked" fg could be implemented. This "locked" fg cannot be used by either the buyer or seller. Essentially it is in limbo, at the mercy of the admins. The buyer can, at any time, choose to "unlock" the fg, so that the seller can use it and the transaction happens normally. If, however, the buyer does not receive the service or item, he can submit a request for a refund in the Scammer Accusations section. "Locks" expire after a set amount of time and can be renewed upon successful application.
With this method, a buyer can pay first and do it safely. A buyer who has been scammed can potentially get a refund because there is no way for the fg to be spent or transferred. There would be no reason for sellers to "go first", so scamming on the buyer's end is also prevented.
Let me know what you think
