Apparently it has always been a law here at d2jsp that no one talks about 3rd party programs, dupes, cheats, etc.

Well it seems to me you're allowing nothing BUT dupes, cheat, etc. There's no control over this type stuff.

Now, I've talked to old members from '05, '06, '07, '08. And they inform me that the 3rd party discuss law used to be so strict that you couldn't discuss map hack.

But what do we have now? A bunch of threads were the items are ALL very, very clear dupes? Where the person selling them specifically tells d2jsp to "treat as dupe", because they are dupes?

That is not right at all. It is leading to the fall of Diablo II all together because they have no knowledge of servers and don't know when enough is enough..

My suggestion is to allow those posts to be reported and closed as illegal trades. According to some old school d2jsp friends on mine, that's exactly how it used to work. And I see no reason why we wouldn't keep it the same.

There's no place for a thousand duped 40/15 jewels in this game. It wouldn't take five minutes for this to be changed and all threads regarding obvious dupes, to be closed.

Not only that, but this identifies and solves a problem for not only Diablo II and it's servers, but also for d2jsp to live up to its rules and laws... Honestly can't wait to see how they fix or dodge this post is..

I find it ridiculous, and quite frankly repulsive, that these have been ignored and allowed to survive this long. Clearly against anything and everything d2jsp has stood for since it stopped botting. But nothing is done about them. And East is not the only one with this problem. Someone from West, Europe, and Asia needs to bring the dupers of their realm forth and have them face the consequences for being a pos too.

Thanks deathHallow. We need many more like you who are not only going to agree, but post how much they agree here.

If d2jsp is going to hand out warns, suspensions, etc and preach the law of "No 3rd Party Programs" then they DEFINITELY need to be fixing these idiots who seem to think they are above the law. And somehow got above the law because this has been going on far to long for someone to tell me the moderators haven't notice this BLATANT use of dupes and discussion of 3rd parties.

Appreciate it guys. We need all the support we can get at this point. I'm not going to watch one of the greatest games die because everyone forgot how to teleport and find items by their damn self..

There's absolutely no reason these threads should exist. Much less be supported by a community who's rules are to NOT discuss it.

You would think if they prevent the discussion, they would prevent further discussion and the usage of it. But they haven't. And as a result, we have massive FTJs.
