i do alot of trading and nfl stuff and when im done with my topic/post seems to stay up for ever..should be a button next to or near the reply button says close..so mod can close it or it will auto close....

like today had a topic needed to be closed and i had to pm a mod to have to close it...

just an ideal, idk if u understand what it is im getting at but eh

Not needed imo. Just let the topic die, or it make it public in your latest post that the topic is solved or something of the like.

For instance with trading, just edit your latest post saying "do need items/items sold"

Also, I'm pretty sure this has been suggested before and denied, sorry

Suggested and denied. There is no need to give any moderating powers for normal users.
Just post in trade topic that item is sold, and let it die.
