I find many locked and scammer accounts (especially in the runescape section) continue to post and are usually have their topics spammed, because they're locked it's obvious they're immature and don't believe in working for things themselves. These people can't contribute to the section they're in and thus, serve no purpose.

My suggestion is to have scammers have their posting rights REMOVED from all forums except general help and scammer accusations. If they want to prove they deserve to remain on the site after victimizing an innocent user, I see no reason for them to be able to post unless they are contributing to the site, which if they don't plan on repaying their scams, what contribution could they possibly give in the sections? They will only cause drama.

When I'm in the runescape section, I cannot stand these scammers asking people who they have stolen from for help.

It could also lead to them being more tempted to find a way to repay their scams

Not every scammer is locked because they've scammed.
It's not a 1 size fits all matter, which is why the mediation group handles each accusation/scam occurrence with discreet and individually.
If you find someone not contributing to your post, regardless if they're locked/tagged or regular, report 'em and go on about your business.

what other reasons are there? Some get locked because they have been hacked, others get locked for scamming njaguar, others get locked for buying fg and having the waiting period. What other reason is there?

Scammers can post in sections for the sole purpose of repaying their scams. They post trades all the time and have it sent to repay meds so that they can get unlocked. Having this put into place would defeat the purpose of repayment

Repay meds only hold the fg, they don't post for trades for scammers. This idea is not thought out at all.

all geting scammer tagged does is say "hey, you cant trade anymore, so take that 500m u scammed, and u can post/do everything else, just cant buy anymore RSGP with your FG"

As Rebellious explained, how would people locked/ tagged go about repaying any scams against them? wait for it? it's not how it happens.
They have to prove they're willing to work to get unlocked by showing it through help around the forums. Community service, if you will. This suggestion totally denies them of that possibility.
And all you're doing is generalizing.
