My suggestion is to add extra commenting of your own which can be modified at any point after the trade occurs.
The point is because some people tend not to put anything in the comment when they send gold, so you might forget what each trade was for.
I suppose you could make your own log on your computer in notepad or something, but for simplicity sake, it'd be helpful for the most part.
