Sure, so please make an option so we can pick between Displaying Old & New ones

and also, no stars at all, like ava, sigs & orbs

Like every update, it's impossible to please everyone, sorry. However, even if someone did do such, chances are there will be a huge divergence of people agreeing and disagreeing whether it's better or worse.

The old gif stars will not be returning under any circumstances.

A couple of users have expressed interest in reworking the new ones to work out some of the various complaints people have, so we'll see if any of that pans out.
