i do multiple things at a time, anyway we could shorten the time between posts? obviously i understand spam control and annoying people control, but a user can be blocked if they send repeated pms & i was thinking maybe put in a capctcha thing (spelling) for X amount of times a player posts? idk if thats able to be done, or even everytime. id rather enter in a simple jgjfa45fga then wait and wait and wait to post my next post when trying to find/sell things and having to hit back and refresh etc until it goes away.

also, could we do somethin about the bump rule? if im about to go somewhere a little while after making a post and cant access jsp but am still looking for/selling whatever im trying to do id still like others to be able to see it while im away and to PM me you know? i was going to work and Bumped a post 10 mins early and it got closed, i understand rules but is there anyway to have like a freebie once a week? or be able to select a reason for why youre bumping early but only let the user use it every so often and have a reset time before they can do it again like a week or two or whatever? -----OR----- make a bump button, instead of having to type it, to keep users from early bumping and have the button reset for that post every 4 hours or whatever?

hmm yeah that is true..thats why i was thinking of maybe just like a bullshit 2-3 digit code..with 26 letters and 1-0 digits, there's more then enough to keep spam bots off here and shit. any other ideas on what they could add instead of a code then?

30 seconds is fine for flood control. Doesn't need to be changed.

There is a bump button that shows up every 4 hours and it shows you when you can bump again.
Doesn't stop people from early bumping.

I don't see a legal means for early bumping working out well given that people already abuse the bump rule as is.

The 30 second timer is perfectly okay, and I've honestly never hit the timer in my entirety on d2jsp. Most of my posts have a good amount of thought put into them before I even press Add Reply. My posts are reviewed and I try to see how others will interpret them. Assuming you put good thought into your posts, you shouldn't have to worry about it. Since you're below 50 posts it may be hindersome, but once you've breached that gap the 30 seconds isn't even noticeable, nor hindersome.

You are still under 50 posts so your timer is at 2 minutes.
Once you at 50+ posts the timer will be changed to 30 seconds (Excluding warns).

As for the bump suggestion, that would be a no go.
If you can not make the time for the bump, let it pass until you can.
