So in your profile, if you "hide this section" in the signature area, and then try to edit your signature, your current signature is no longer there.
Basically, it erases your signature buffer.

Now, your signature is not gone when you "hide this section" in your profile, all it is supposed to do is hide it from your profile page.
Right now however, it also "deletes" it if you try to edit your signature.

The intended usage should still show your signature when you press the edit button.

This is definitely a bug, not an intended feature.

The only way to edit your signature is to have it not hiding.

A way to fix that I suggested to help this error is to add it into here for signature edits - http://forums.d2jsp.org/settings.php
