Many people don't have a lot of friends and would certainly have more people to talk with. This forum will be simple to use : when you want to, you post something like "Feel free to add me", and the people who want will add you. A lot of new connections

I think if you really wanted new friends on the forums, you'd go to the sub-forums of your interest and express yourself with others there. There you will be able to make friends. I think this may just cause a lot of spam. The idea itself isn't bad, but the things that come with it (long-term speaking; spam, flame, etc.) aren't great.

I understand, but the thing is now in the sub forums, approximately all the active members are here just to spam/flame, so i think a lot of people just don't want to post there because of this.
