I am personally a very avid fisherman, and with other sports i.e. basketball/football/soccer/baseball forums, i feel that a fishing subforum would be very nice aswell!
If there were to be a fishing forum, i feel it should be placed with other sports in sports coliseum, aswell.

You can always make a fishing topic in the sports coliseum and chat about it in that topic. I don't think there is currently enough discussion and demand about fishing for a sub-forum to be created for it.

valid point, but i think it would be just as interst as other forums, such as golf, which gets like 2 posts a day
