So, I'm sure there are people who think this is pointless, but hear my suggestion out.

Many times in the Donate for me please thread, you see Not rated Members posting their $$ amount that they'd like to spend for someone and those who post telling them that it is not allowed to post the dollars they'd like to spend.
In both cases, it is against the rules to post your dollar amount you'd like to spend and posting that it is not allowed.

In this case, most of those people just see others posting their $$ amount and assume it is allowed, but by far it is not allowed. I feel that a better system should be implemented.

Here is my idea, not that it is the best, but it is a simple idea I feel would suffice.
I think there should be a separate forum for the Donate for me please thread, that is read only for not rated members. Of course, us Trusted/Med+ Could post in it. Since those looking to spend their FG are allowed to post right now, some may think this is unfair, but just like those wanting to spend $$, they should just be able to PM any mediator they see fit to post up their amount.

I feel this would reduce spam entirely in that thread and it would be a lot cleaner. I'm not saying it is needed of course, what we have now should be good enough, and those who post should follow the rules of the thread, but we all know that will not happen.

This is my idea, Think it is great? Awesome. Think it is bad? Awesome. I just feel that this would be pretty cool and I have no problem with the way it is now, but I just don't feel that rules will be followed the way it is now.

I agree with this. It would make the thread alot cleaner when only the mediators can post in it.
It would also cut down on people complaining that they were ignored when like 20 people respond to a person in the thread instead of contacting the mediator.

Yah I have to agree with you Matt, that topic has alot people posting stuff they shouldn't

This would be an easy to cut all of that spam out of that topic, however as you pointed out it's not needed but would be nice

Nice proposal, this would definitely cut out the excess spam from others posting there. In my opinion, this would make the whole process a lot faster and efficient. People would be able to clearly see who is available for donations and who has already been taken. There's no point for non ranked members to be posting there honestly, the mediators do a fine job there. The only drawback of this that I can see is that the mediators may have to deal with increase private messages, however due to the amount of mediators in the "Donate For Me Please" section, this shouldn't be too big of an issue.

[x] Definitely Yes!
