this option should at least go under post options i.e. 5fg so the topic author gets e-mail notifications on new replies..

the reasoning.. not everyone is perma loged into d2jsp, and oftenmost it is faster to check your smartphone for new e-mail than plow though the forum to check if you have any replies..

besides some ppl play on a potato that barely handles the game, and running forrum at the same time as the game is quite a strech for the system..

You will also get the push notifications on your smartphone without actively browsing d2jsp. The page I linked above lists all browsers that currently support these notifications.
