Was recently discussing on a question I had about the Orb of Random and this came up.

Would it be possible to have the Orb of Random, change the color of your name while currently active on a post? Rather than what it currently does, which is change based on the post/reply or refreshing of the page, just have it constantly cycle through colors every 5-10 seconds, or random other interval.

One counter I can think to this is: Won't that be distracting?
Answer: I don't think so. People already have movable avatars, and movable signatures that are far more distracting than a few letters.

A similar question has been asked back in 2009, but I'm asking something different.

Although the 5kfg isn't a massive amount to many on the forums, I would purchase it if this were the case.
