I ran into a problem a few days ago when a google search redirected me to an old post on d2jsp which had a poll in it.

We can't see the results of the poll without bumping the topic, this is not a great solution in my opinion.

Both Vote options give you the same message: Polling is disabled for topics that have not had any new posts in 3 months.

My suggestion is to have View Results (Null Vote) button actually show results in old topics without the need to bump years old topics.

We can't even bump old topics? I honestly didn't even try, if this is correct than the solution is even easier.

Treat old topics like closed topics and have results shown as default.

I tried it in that post, to see the results. It gives you the same error you listed above.
