once an objective is enabled, there seems to be a difference in odds of encountering and activating it...some like "a pinch of evil" "bits and pieces" "treasure pest" "Soften the sneaky shell" can usually always be found in just a few maps/cata clears. While others like "Hack the horde" "Face the evil" and "Ambush!" can be almost impossible to encounter/activate.

With so little info officially released on the objectives (what the task is/involves, how big of a map/cata one needs, how many steps/moves are needed, can it be found on a map or just cata, can it be found exploring vs whistling, minimum number of players required, etc) it is hard to know if not encountering all the objectives as easily as others is because of different odds or unknown reasons but I am willing to bet the odds are not even. With all the testing and things posted by players, one can assume/find discussions/posts/charts with all or most of the missing info on objectives.

ex. on current solo climb I believe i found "a pinch of evil" after clearing 1-2 catacombs between lvls 6-10. It took 3+ lvl 10 maps on easy mode to encounter "treasure pest" but only 1-2 lvl 10 maps to find "soften the sneaky shell" and am yet to find "ambush!" after clearing 4x lvl 10 maps, 2x lvl 15 maps, and a lvl 25+ cata all with easy mode deactivated. I have gone entire solo climbs from lvl 30+ and not encountered "Ambush!" while exploring catacombs/lvl 10+ maps with easy mode deactivated, but have also encountered it a very few times relatively early and easily while solo exploring in catas or doing lvl 10+maps with easy mode deactivated so i know it is possible.
