for example: When you click to track a topic, there is a box that pops up. You Must Click on the 'X' in the corner
of the box if you want to leave the option. Allowing a more intuitive "clicking off that box" or pressing "escape" would be a nice QoL.
I'm sure there are several other instances of these, but I just thought I'd throw it out there.

edit: if you know of any other instance like this that would benefit from this tweak,
post it on this topic. I'm sure the devs would appreciate.

Are you saying to adding a cancel button or something similar rather than closing the option you prior mentioned?

I don't, imo, see an extreme necessity for this. Also there is an issue with an esc button on mobile. *Or lack there of. Cancel option wouldn't be bad but I normally just click the X
