Hello, regarding D2R.

Last reset all my active and paid topics on ladder was closed when reset happend.

Thats why im curious if its possible to move these topics from the ladder section, to the non ladder section instead of closing them?

Imo it makes sense... items moves to NL = Topics moves to NL so they can continue.

Best regards.

the problem i see is the amount of topics that aren't being used at the conclusion of each ladder
instead of going through each post by just archiving the lot that's a ton of time saved for the mods
the option to request to move a particular topic seems like a better suggestion imo

I do like the idea of being able to move trade threads from one subforum to another. Especially as OP says, some of them are paid titles. Sure it's a minimal loss in the end, but it is a loss nonetheless.

I wonder if a system like this could exist.

Feature

Develop an automated process by which users can pay FG to transfer a selected trade thread from one subforum to another.

Process

User goes to "Tools", and selects the check box next to the trade thread they would like transferred. Then down at the bottom, next to "Unsubscribe Selected" and "Edit Selected", is a button they can push called "Move Selected". Next screen has a drop down with other compatible subforums where the post can be moved to. User selects the desired subforum, types in their FG password, presses the "Subit Gold Transfer" button. Done. Post is automatically moved.

Potentially too many dead topics that owners keep bumping for 10 pages. If it's important enough, you can re-create a fresh topic in non-ladder imho.

Voted no.

While I do understand where you are coming from, the amount of topics that would flood into the NL subforum would be problematic in multiple ways.

If there are specific threads you would not like to retype out again, etc, my advice would be to keep a copy of the text/image links as the post is laid out in a word doc or other text editor file.
This will allow you to just copy/paste into the new NL trade thread.

Yes this would be great.
Currently have ~40 paid topics on ladder that I would like moved to NL at reset.

its not only about own topics... its also about topics we are tracking for items that we are bidding on...

Currently, there are about 10k topics in D2R Ladder... and about 32k NL.. im pretty sure system is strong enough to handle 10k topics to move em quick.

Also, topics that are not being bumper will just get lost in the archives with the rest of unused topics...

voted yes for sure!
