Most of the scams would be preventable if d2jsp introduced a fully automated and seamless "mediation" system where you can see the other party's intent to transfer fg prior to the transaction being completed. Fg gets committed to a transaction and can't be used for fooling others. Also, this confirms a trade intent on jsp. The real question is, why this is not the default yet.
If you're smart you won't get scammed, but sadly not everyone is equally smart, and a good system would work for everyone, including the less smart ones.
