Maybe only for specific subforums (for example: bar & pub games)

I think once that starts others are going to want their color of choice, leaving the forum full of rainbow threads. Going to null.

I think if it was going to be added it would have been done by now. I personally wouldn't mind a couple additions, but I don't want too many colors either.

You forgot to explain why.
and why just green?

fiddled with chrome inspector and changed the reds to green. looks cool but then thought when you have multiple threads of red and green, it might become too much

green contrasts with red, grabs the eye very well in a pool of red kinda doubt that's why this was suggested though
