I stopped using the personal blog system since the immersion of a blog is ruined needing to PM a mod, friend list that mod, have that mod post, then post my update, then remove the mod as a friend.

I understand the need for the forum to have rules for management of posts, can we have like a 50 fg fee to "reactivate" an old blog for an update?

Hey ,

It seems that there were several similar topics created in the past. This one applies the most to your idea, and it already has a poll: https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=52334342&f=258.
I would bump it and continue your discussion there.

Alternatively, since your idea is slightly different, you can add a poll to your topic as well as provide a visual representation of the idea, according to the sticky: https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=57896631&f=258.

I would vote yes.

it makes sense when you pay 50fg for deleting blog from your profile, you could also reactivate old blog for 50fg.

I prefer discussion over metrics. Thanks for digging up a related suggestion though. Cheers.

Absolutely not. No fee. Just extend the 3 month lock to 1 or even 2 years lock, for Blogs only. It isn’t like anyone can necro your blogs, and it’s pretty common for people to go on a year or two hiatus without updating their personal diary or blog, so I think it makes sense to have a much longer time lock for blogs. I believe I made this suggestion several years ago but got tired of bumping it.

Agree completely but I doubt d2jsp will do anything "for free"

This is just my opinion that also agrees with you and the Original Post.

If you have access to create a blog on D2jsp, this should NOT be taxed in any way ... Time or Forum Gold when you (YOU) create it. Only YOU can be the Administrator of all responses, thus you are the ONLY person to control/block/lock the users posting inappropriate comments/images ... and IF by chance you have not had the time to respond (being AFK/AWOL) over a certain time... then it is up to the D2jsp Administrators to make an appearance, and then, maybe then, you may have to pay a fee (if any).

My thoughts... it needs more work for blogs on this site, remember, Paul has to pay for the "Server(s)" to run D2jsp.
