since the creation of the d2 private server forum - https://forums.d2jsp.org/forum.php?f=380 the forum seems successful and manageable.

However, for WoW

there currently exists the rule:

No discussion or trading on private servers. Only Blizzard servers are allowed to be discussed and traded on.

Please can this be changed?

this has less to do with managing the forums and more to do with how blizzard views both games.

d2 private "servers" or mods require you actually buy the game. Wow private servers do not, therefore they are seen by both blizzard and jsp as piracy. Whether or not the private server wow players would play retail if they were shut down doesn't matter, the fact is they are playing a subscription based game without paying a dime for it (box price or sub)

openly discussing piracy (streaming ppv's or pirating games) can't be allowed on the website because it will put the whole site at risk
