Though i use Notepad in the settings menu myself, i think that it would benefit such a small area of the community, that its not really worth implementing.

If i have multiple bits of information in there, what i tend to do is post them with dividers such as

mass underscores. Keeps the information seperate.

I'm using the notepad since few years, and I would have no utility for it...
If you want to make a trade list, as you said, you have the Preview Post button.
If you want to change something in your profil it's the same, you have a preview button.
I only save infos, signature, or any link I don't want to lose in the notepad.

But now, if Paul wants to add it, I'm fine with it.
I give you a Yes.
