No. Reason being series/parallel circuit impedance is calculated with the same formula. Learn ohms law and the power formula and it will work every time. Use a multi-meter and test the continuity for desired impedance.

Edit: series add resistance by load devices
Parallel divide resistance by load devices

Doesn't just mean wiring..

Suggestions on speakers and such.
