Yep very good idea. After i trade, i often will send the other user .01 fg just so i can put a comment, or history on an item, etc. in the gold log

As long as the original trade comment cannot be edited.

Just put an extra column in the gold logs that holds you own trade comments.
Also, set it once and then it cannot be changed, like the comment when someone sends you gold.

Yes, I in no way would want to be able to change original comment. That would lead to sooo many problems haha.
