I think this is a good idea but you seem to be utterly failing in understanding the point people are trying to make.

Your whole idea is based on being able to "repost" the FIRST post of a thread when likely by the time it gets closed due to 60+ replies, you have sold off much of that, therefore requiring you to edit the post anyway in order for it to be an accurate representation of what you have for trade. Your whole purpose behind it is to save time by not needing to edit the post (due to copy/paste not transferring the coding as well). What would be more logical is to SPECIFY which post you want to "repost". For example, if your reply #60 had the most updated and current ft list, you could choose to "repost" that.

Basically, your idea of saving time doesn't actually 100% save time. You would need to broaden the parameters beyond just reposting comment #1.

I mean I'm just saying your post is just contradicting. Basically, you don't want to have to deal with editing the coding but you'd be taking time to edit the first post anyway bc you would have to go through and remove any items you have already sold or acquired. So what difference does it make? Taking time to edit is taking time to edit.

I don't have this issue. I use google docs spreadsheet to indicate my sold list. I repost as is.
For those who have issues, you edit your image and reupload it. But that doesn't mean that you need to reupload the entire post.

For example, when I post, I have rules etc that I don't want to retype.

I understand what people are saying, they are just invalid arguments
