I have to agree with what Kevin stated that it might not too necessary, it's just a matter of a few seconds that you save by implementing this feature.

I'm voting yes, but I would consider this a low priority.

Sure it's not the top priority of a suggestion but it can save some time and it would be rather helpful setting up ur profile background easier.

I have to support this.
Im a well known Graphic Artist here at D2jsp and i also believe this function would be useless.
Because saving the settings is like a preview ... you just can go in to your Profile and look if you like it or not ... and if not just remove it.
It's not that needed like the Preview function when you open a new Topic which you can not edit the whole time.

so its a "NO" from me.

I don't see how being a graphic artist would do anything?
It would save all kinds of time if it was like this.
