I voted no to both.

They just don't seem like something that's really needed, they're neat in the sense of style, but with no perks other than getting a cool stars and an orb doesn't seem worth it imo.

If there was a way guilds could compete, or work for these stars/orbs that would make it worth implementing, but if you can just obtain them by spending money kinda ruins it for the ones who don't want to spend money.

You spent a bit for your stars?
Guilds can do FG vs stars same as individuals...

I agree though that guild competitions and contests would be a lot of fun, but guilds with more members would have a huge advantage in my opinion...

My thought process was to include smaller guilds into participating in certain events to make it more attainable, again, to people who DO NOT want to spend money.

However, it could go either way I suppose. If guilds don't want these, then they won't spend the money, but there should an alternate way to obtain these.

Also, if you spend money JUST for stars seems like a waste. Would you spend x amount of dollars just so you could see a star next to your guilds name in the guild list? I wouldn't.

Without a return it will be a turn off to people, that's why spending money vs FG is an easier decision because you get something you can actually use around the forum in return. Not bling.

My stars are my stars and have nothing to do with this topic.

I'm just saying you got stars to add a little more customization to your account. Why shouldn't a guild have the same abilities?
Maybe after a certain star upgrade you get either a new guild topic of a guild topic size upgrade? Some bonus like that?
