I'll vote yes, because most of the new members violate the rules much more than older users,
but older users also violate the rules so wouldn't help much as it seems noone cares for the rules

Though, thats the reason why I voted yes.
Because older users should've gotten this msg when they entered the site.

Everything is listed in top right corner, and doesn't take long clicking those links.
Also, I don't really think that the majority will bother reading that pm.

When I joined you had to read the rules before you could ever create a account if I remember correctly.
But its been suggested before and never implemented, its commen sense to read the forum rules and posting rules before starting your d2sp career.

It might be common sense, but it never happens.
If you spent half a second in General Help you'd notice how one topic helps about 5 new members with the same issue - it's a joke.



Even if it just links them to the New User Guide by Protagonist.
It will help.

At least, it welcomes new user and provides them basic information about d2jsp. As stated before, no need to make it a wall of text, just a few links and a warm welcome
