No I don't enjoy having to kill the animal. It is a necessary Evil.

Razza, its getting pointless I think.. You sing the same song and obviously you just see what you want. Now I think you are getting blind with your arguments and I start to belive now that you just want to say white because some people here say black.. Its annoying a little bit. You have decided that hunters are just crazy cowboy who kills for "entertainment" and visibly, its seem that you stick on it. We all get your point. I have one sister she think the same way of you but she start to think a little different after she taste my deer chilli sauce
Of course there is some kind of pride to kill an 8 pointers. but dont make me wrong. Do not mixed that pride with entertainment like shot down a target at the circus. When I sit in my tree stand, you have no idea how many dows and faons I let pass on because I knew there is a big buck who'll show one day. Yes, of course its a good feeling when Im done with my hunting. Not just because I killed an animal. this is the tip of the iceberg indeed but there is so many factors in that. the preparation, pictures ive took during off season, everything I use to hide my presence, my smell, etc and at the end I can celebrate it with a god steak in my plate. Seriously, you should try I also love hunting because I cannot count hours and hours I spent in the deep forest breathing nature air from dawn to dusk in summer off season. I really love to be in the wood and connect with the wild life. YHunting, as you can see its not just put a round in a rifle and shoot at an animal. It way more than that. You have to try or at least get touch base with hunters in your family or friends. I understand its not easy to put words on that and talk about a passion who is visceral. I respect that you dont agree but at least dont reduce hunting by fun killing game. Its not a video game..

You want a hunting and fishing subforum, but DON'T enjoy hunting. You are just some sort of saint who kills animals purely to limit the animal population. You don't enjoy it, but you'd love to have a place where you can discuss it

I give this subforum about a 0.01% success rate anyway tbh : / Just like every suggestion, it'll just probably get ignored

But yeah. I'll shut up if no one cares, lol. I'm used to everyone getting bored and wanting me to shut up ^^

ohh no razza dont worry. Actually I wanted to thank you very much for your participation in this topic. You are the one who feed it the most and give a reason why JSP should create a sub forum about hunting/fishing.

Again Dude I never said I don't enjoy hunting, I love to hunt Its ME vs. Animal I don't Enjoy Having To Kill. In order to full fill all the things i listed as reasons I must kill the deer.

As for my ridiculous claims about why I hunt I never stated these until You stated that I am dodging your Question. I was Answering your Questions as if I were speaking for the Hunting commiunity as a whole. Again those reason are very vaild

1. Population manag.
2. Bond with my hunting party IE father , uncle, cousion, bother
3. Bond with other hunters I meet in town, and talk about the days events
4. Food I love venision
5. The joy of being in the middle ofthe deep forest
6. Knowing I may be killed by a bear, wolf, moose, mnt. lion, or even a white tial
7. Donating my hides to hides for habiat for humanity

You have yet to make a vaild point, other than your claim that its cruel. Which is debatable

Well, the animal usually has no idea that you're even there until the gun is fired and by that time they should be dead already (assuming it's an instant kill). So I really don't see where the cruelty is.

YES DEFINETLY. There are whole stores dedicated to just hunting and fishing!
