First of all you got my yes!
I do really think this wouldn't hurt anybody and help new users alot!Quote (Greapper @ 25 Jul 2009 01:29)
I disagree.... i think a bettter solution would be
(upon registering & logging in for the first time)
a user should be directed to the general help unified sticky....
I have to disagree with this! Because poeple would be overhelmed by the amount of the stickys .. and many stickys aren't that important at the beginning.
Of course every sticky got useful information but its better to have the most important ones sorted out.
The profile notes would be a great place for it in my eyes because you can always check them quick without searching for them because new Users often doesn't even know where they would have to search for them.Quote
The new users may have some trouble to find the right section where all those links are stickied but they wont have any problems to check their profile
and if they don't like it, they can simply delete it like the text " This user has not..."
In search of some opinions =)
Best Regards and Happy Voting,

New users might dont know how to edit the Notes so a sticky for it would be good.
If you have read everything and dont need these links anymore follow this Guide to remove them out of your notes
This is just an idea but i think it would be needed if someone doesn't want to have them in his Profile and doesn't know how to remove them.Quote (Morot @ 30 Mar 2013 00:05)
Well
You can click on
Help and Rules (in the top right corner, just over Live Streams). The most important things are in there. It's not that bad that people ask in the general help, because people forget how to do things, and it freshes up your memory. It also makes the general help active

So my answer is no, sorry. But I agree with you that it should be easier to spot

It won't effect the General Help much .. poeple will still ask there if they dont understand something / can't find something.
And since only the most important links will be in the Profile they will still ask for other things they might not find even if they got the link to the GHUS aswell.
But i would also support the Idea to make it as an "Welcome to D2jsp.org" Private Message.
