To compare, reddit also have seperate reddits for EoC and 07scape

It's interesting; all of the EoC haters go into EoC threads and drop stupid remarks and the 07 haters go into 07 threads and drop stupid remarks, but here there's a clear general consensus among both parties that a split is desired.

Not sure why this is taking so long to implement.

There is a clear market for this, there is a clear 100+ users that will be using the dedicated forums.
