There should be. Pokemon has a gigantic fanbase, and the discussions can go for days.

Back when I played gold version, I'd get into arguments about the best team layouts all the time. I don't play so much any more, but I still find the game fascinating with much strategy involved.

And if you start playing, you'll get more and more into it.
Also, Shoddy battle makes people think of wacky teams.
It's like inspiration for new D/P/P teams to train or hack (ew)
