Is there a threshold for votes before this gets looked at by mods? Also wondering if a new poll needs to be started to pivot this to a more open Soulsborne-ring sub or if the comments here and support are sufficient

Appreciate the discussion. I think you're right that most of us who enjoy these games usually put them down after a playthrough or two;

I was thinking this might actually be a good reason for a sub. In my experience, when they first come out the online is thriving, summons and PvP abound. A few years later, there's less online activity and it saps some of the fun out for those who join late.

If there were a sub, people could find somebody to PvP/coop with even after the online community fades

An EldenSoulsKiroBorne subforum might be nice for some jolly cooperation, pvp, etc., but realistically I don't think it would gain enough traction to warrant its own subforum.

I don't agree with the game longevity arguments, but I still don't think a dedicated subforum is needed for these titles, even if combined under the same umbrella.

All of these games have nearly endless replayability. More so over most "ARPGs" of the last 10ish years. Fromsoft doesn't fill their games with very many bullshit side quests that give you nothing. The games are high octane the entire time, especially during your first playthrough.

There are still people doing challenge runs, the speed running community is huge, and the pvp community is still extremely active. Show me many other games with this kind of niche, in being brutally difficult and having such a large community. These games have created an entire genre. There are very few people that actually appreciate these games that put them back in the box.

If you're one of those people, that's cool. Enjoy playing other things, I suppose. I'll be playing this for years.

No, subforum will be dead as fast as its made. With duping being involved with most items that traders are selling. Not worth it
