Voted no.
Regardless of all the banter about how to choose wisely for guild leaders/co-leaders. This is still highly abusive. It's the internet. Anyone can change at the drop of a hat.
The only use I could find out of this is the possibility of a guild with nothing but real life friends, and even then, still easily abused.

You guys arn't really reading lol..

If you were to donate forum gold to your guild..Who would you send it to? The guild leader right? So he has the power over the forum gold. This would make it no different..Accept the Guild's FG Pot would be public to it's Guild Members.. So..Everyone sees there is 500fg in the Guild Pot.. That fg dissapears.. Nothing was added in Guild Logs.. Where did the fg go?

Well, the Guild Members would defenately ask questions right?..And if answers didn't make sense..Possibly leave that guild.

If you donate gold to your guild now..You actually have less tracking options on what it's used on..The leader could just buy whatever he wants from whoever lol. So in all actuality.. The Guild Bank would make it so leaders would have less options to abuse it.

I guess what I'm saying is..You guys keep posting about how it could be abused.. Well, give an example..I havn't seen one yet to prove your accusations on it being abuseable.

So the guild buys a guild bank feature,
Members can donate via this feature,
Say your guild acquires 5k fg,

The guild leader can only have the option to do the following

Maybe make it so that the feauture has some kind of limitation so that the leader can't just run off with the money.
Yes I know it's a donation, but the donations should be left to benefit the guild and not the leader.

Maybe leader get's 10% for all the work he does.

Just throwing some different options, I don't see the point in it now, so I am holding my vote: But I can see this going somewhere.

I don't see the point of this, or how it could be made so that it actually works as a useful addition.

*Someone* has access to that bank so sending the fg to him or to that bank makes no difference.
You can always put a fee for new members if you want to buy stuff for the guild.

Yeah just in my experience that is where the confusion came from lol.. I collected the entrance fee's ..but it got mixed with my fg unless I kept note of it. And I would get 5 members who want in..have mixed fg in there for example lol..And I would get confused and simply purchase 10 users spots instead of 5 lol

Not a bad idea but you can do this even without a guild bank feature, if you trust your leader, you can give him fg

and what if the guild leader decides to scam, by kicking u all from the guild and spending the fg?

Can just support this!

No and i will tell you some reasons:

1. High potential of scams -> also happen in WoW where this system exists
2. You can loan/donate FG to someone if he need
3. The one who put something in should be atleast able to take the same out what he have put in in case it was an accident or he might need it on his own.
4. Gold banks are used to buy things for the Guild in WoW -> on JSP this would be Guild Features ... and everyone could just donate FG to the Guild leader and put "Guild Features" in comment or can get the rights to buy them on his own.
5. The Guild owner goes inactive for some reasons and wont come back because he dont care or forgot about it what then?

But just wanted to share my oppionion and let you know why i voted "no" for this.

What if your owner is inactive and you are running the guild for him? or there are multiple leaders and other members just donate at random?

My suggestion.

- FG fee for having the option in a guild so all the people who thinks its pointless do NOT have to use it
- Owner/leaders can pick and choose who has access to take FG out of the bank
- Have a log that comes with it so you know who took fg out and when and how much or who donated when and how much
- Make so anyone in the guild can donate but NOT everyone can take out
- Use it for guild fundings/donations as its for a guild not just for people to take and use freely

This makes it easier to keep track of it and so its easier to pinpoint who donated and how much instead of just bombarding the leaders with donations from 50+ people expecting them to keep up with it over the months who trade continuously on various games.

[Expanse] You can trade on other games with people and you can on jsp too, saying "this is not wow" is about the most ignorant and comical thing to say all in one.
I did not say it had to be exactly like WoW.

With the way you're thinking I can see a high potential of scams but if you have a guild full of scammers get them locked/tagged and be done with also your guild can have the option of having it so those who do not want it do not have to use it.

If you're going to donate why would you want to take it back? you can easily use the fg someone donates anyways and not give it back so whats the difference?

If he did want it back for any reason I'm sure a leader would be happy to.

I know in my guild we do not have scum so that is not a issue for ours regardless.

Just to keep this going.
